The demand for equipment has been unable to meet the current and future high performance application and

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) has the characteristics of low temperature, volatile, flammable and explosive, and its safety issues are being highlighted. The probability and consequences of accident were quantitatively analyzed in combination with the possibility of LNG filling station pump or pipeline spillage. The DEGADIS and LNGFire3 models were used to determine the consequences of the accident. Based on the injury criterion data provided by relevant literature, the article concludes that the personal risk value derived from personal injury level and mortality rate, when compared with personal risk standards of United Kingdom, Netherlands and other countries and institutions, the personal risk value is much lower than the standard limit value, and shows the rationality of establishing 5kW/m2 as the safety distance from critical thermal radiation intensity.

In this paper, the design procedure; modeling and controller design, testing are presented. Extensive tests have shown that the system reacts rapidly to changes in the operating conditions and effectively rejects disturbances due to unexpected changes in the quality of the material. This paper is the design and experimental testing of a feedback control system for the regulation of the volumetric flow in a polymer single screw extruder. Extruder temperature control is a challenging control problem. The problem becomes even more challenging when multiple barrel are included, such as in barrel temperature control for extruders. When characteristics of the system are examined, it becomes clear that a commonly used proportional plus compound plus derivative PID controller cannot meet such performance specifications for this kind of system. In order to achieve the required performance, a control strategy that utilizes techniques such as model predictive control, autotuning, and multiple parameter PID is formulated. This control strategy proves to be very effective in achieving the desired specifications.

The video surveillance system is preferred for security monitoring, however, the detection of moving object is a challenging part. In areas where parking space is allotted to a particular vehicle, a wrongly parked vehicle can be recognized. It is noted that the number plates of the vehicle are found in different shape, size and also they are different in color. This makes the detection of the vehicle by their number plates, the most interesting and challenging research topic. Number plate detection is helpful in finding stolen cars, car parking management system and identification of the vehicle in traffic. This paper presents an approach for Number Plate Recognition (NPR) using morphological operation and Sobel edge detection method. In this approach, all the letters and numbers used in the number plate are segmented by using bounding box method. After segmentation, template matching approach is used to recognize numbers and characters. The number plate decoded can be used further for identification, matching and documentation purpose of vehicle details.

To solve the problems of internal and external disturbances caused by mechanical wear, electrical aging and complex road conditions, a practical and robust pinch detection algorithm is proposed for the anti-pinch control systems of the car’s sunroof. The proposed algorithm makes use of grey theory to predict and compensate the uncertain disturbances. To detect electric sunroof pinch state, a kind of torque rate is selected as the observation state due to the less sensitivity of the torque rate to the uncertainty of the motor’s parameters and supply voltage than the torque or the angular speed. The torque rate is obtained by using angular velocity measurements calculated from the Hall sensor output. To detect the pinched condition, a systematic way to determine the threshold level of the torque rate estimation is also suggested. The experimental results show that our method meets the requirements of European Directive 74/60/ECC, China GB 11552-2009 and America Directive FMVSSll8,and has excellent performances in detecting car’s electric sunroof pinch state.

When controlling the Apparatus Function (AF), the size of definition domain of the AF O and the sampling step and conditionality of the AF must be chosen so that its inverse function pR=pО-1 obtains a minimum norm. The compensation of the AF O distortions in the measured images is realized point-by-point (without using the Fourier Transform in convolution). The computer of the device uses the resolving function pR, selected by the controlling procedure, for achieving super-resolution in images. Such controlled super-resolution is demonstrated on the Martian images.
